At ARRA, every fabric choice is intentional. We design modern essentials made to last — and that starts with the materials.
Organic Cotton: Better for You and the Planet
Conventional cotton is one of the most chemically intensive crops in the world. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, using significantly less water and leaving the soil healthier for future harvests. The result is a fabric that's softer, safer, and more sustainable.
Our organic cotton knit fabrics are developed in Portugal and Italy — regions with a long tradition of textile excellence — and every knit garment is made in the heart of the Garment District, NYC. When you wear an ARRA organic cotton piece, you're wearing something that was thoughtfully made from field to finished garment.
Italian Merino: Luxury with a Conscience
Not all merino is created equal. We use only RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified superfine and extrafine Italian merino — yarn spun and dyed in Italy using low environmental impact dyes. RWS certification means the sheep are treated humanely and the land is managed responsibly.
Superfine merino is incredibly lightweight, naturally temperature-regulating, and gets softer with every wear. It's the kind of fabric you reach for season after season — which is exactly the point.
Made to Last
Fast fashion is designed to be replaced. ARRA is designed to be kept. By investing in organic and sustainable materials, and crafting each piece in New York and Italy, we're making clothing that holds its value.
